C&C Recorders first began multi-tracking live shows in early 2004. With a passion for recording anywhere and at anytime, C&C have quickly become one of the most talented and trusted mobile operations in Memphis.

Composed of Ardent Studios’ Grammy Award nominated Producer/Engineer Curry Weber and their Chief Technical Engineer Chris Jackson, the team has between them 18 years of experience in the recording business. Although all of the places where they have been are varied and unique, the goal of every recording remains the same; make it sound the best as it possibly can be. Working in tandem on all of the company’s mobile projects, Chris will generally handle the logistical aspects such as equipment needs and interfacing, while Curry leans more toward the sonic issues that are involved. While both have their own special talents to offer, they make no mistake in recognizing the value of teamwork. As they continue their careers at Ardent Studios, the duo is constantly staying up to date on the latest technological as well as sonic advances in the music world.

These days when not out on some exotic location recording music, Chris can usually be found at Ardent, knee deep in a vintage Neve console or SSL power supply…while Curry is making records with some of the most talented artists and musicians in the world, all right here in Memphis.
